The Grand Mess is a Canadian Singer, Songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and record producer living in Brooklyn. He began making music at age 18 studying jazz piano and voice before moving to electronic music a few years later. He first received recognition for his 2016 single “lightyears”. This year marked the return of his solo project with “Lie To You,” the second of three original releases to be debuted in 2020.
During his career, he has collaborated with artists including Sara Diamond, Michael Blume and has contributed production and songwriting work to artists including Jeffrey Eli, LA duo Finkel, Oren Major.
In the meantime, you can find his latest score in the 2020 Milk Makeup Campaign featuring 070 Shake, Mereba and Charlotte Lawrence. In addition to writing music for film and TV with SONY and Viacom Media, his catalog is represented by Accidental Music, All Media Music Group and Heavy Hitters Music Group for sync. You didn’t know it at the time, but you have been hearing his sonic palette for years through various AT&T, Lexus, Nissan, Disney, Facebook, American Express, The NFL and Warner Media music scores.
